Après quelques hectomètres sur la route, nous prenons un sentier pour plonger dans le vallon du ruisseau de la Figarella. Reste une montée sérieuse à digérer dans le maquis et sous le soleil. La fatigue se fait sentir ; lentement, un pas après l'autre, nous atteignons le dernier point haut de notre périple : Bocca u Corsu ({{nobr|586 m}}).
