Les 200 mètres de dénivelée sont grimpés en une demi-heure. Quentin, loin en tête, inquiète une marmotte qui sonne l’alerte par des sifflets stridents. Jean-Luc suit obstinément le sentier avec son groupe de prudents. Genoux obligent ! La colonne descend d’un bon train et en silence ce large vallon où paissent des troupeaux de chevaux et de bovins. Les nuages reculent à mesure que nous avançons. Les pentes sont tapissées de gentianes défleuries, d’iris et ancolies bleus. Nous gagnons un sous-bois très agréable, de hêtres, houx, buis et beaucoup d’autres essences.
