La pente est raide et le C8 s’essouffle. Tout le temps d’admirer les superbes chalets savoyards accrochés aux pentes, leurs terrasses tournées vers la vallée et la chaîne montagneuse en face. Dernier tronçon enneigé et heureusement court qui amène au parking Les Lanches à 1135 m.</ins></div></td></tr>

La neige est lourde, de nombreux troncs d’arbres barrent le chemin, il faut les enjamber ou les contourner, puis traverser des gués plus ou moins larges. La progression est lente. Jean-Luc fait la trace avec quelques hésitations car le chemin n’est pas évident. Daniel s’amuse et attend la caravane à un virage pour la bombarder de boules de neige. Quelques génuflexions ou chutes sur les fesses déclenchent les rires. Sensation peu agréable des épicéas qui s’égouttent sur nos têtes. Paysage toujours bouché même si, en fin de matinée, on devine le soleil qui tente de s’imposer. Dernière bonne montée, Daniel faisant la trace, et enfin nous distinguons des toits !</ins></div></td></tr>

Un éleveur s’y installe avec son troupeau le temps de l’estive. Jean-Luc débite les noms de tous les monts du massif du Mont Blanc que nous devrions pouvoir admirer, des Aiguilles de Bionnassay aux Grandes Jorasses. Nous lui faisons confiance, car ils sont tous bien cachés. Dans une déchirure de nuages, nous voyons au loin évoluer les skieurs de la station des Gets. Le sommet de la Bourgeoise se dévoile timidement. La pluie a cessé.</ins></div></td></tr>

Maintenant, le lait est descendu tous les soirs à la Fruitière, cave coopérative qui propose d’excellents reblochons et autres produits provenant des régions de montagne.</ins></div></td></tr>
